Our Graduate Programme offers a unique opportunity to work across two of our core departments:

  • Power Systems Consultancy in Manchester
  • Engineering in Washington

Beginning September 2025 and lasting 18 months, the programme will ensure you gain invaluable hands-on experience, working on groundbreaking projects that drive innovation in the energy sector.

By the end of the programme, we’ll help you identify the department that best aligns with your career goals, empowering you to thrive in your chosen field.

Please Note:
Our Graduate Programme is open to applicants who have the right to work in the UK. While we are unable to provide visa sponsorship, we welcome applications from candidates currently on a Graduate Visa or planning to apply for one before September 2025.

What to Expect

Begin your journey with 9 months in Manchester, tackling real-world challenges like grid connection studies with our Power Systems Consultancy Team. Then, transition to our engineering department in Washington, where you’ll collaborate with our manufacturing team to see how high-level designs transform into innovative products. This hands-on experience spans Enspec’s entire project lifecycle, equipping you to graduate as a skilled, impactful engineer.

From day one, you’ll work on projects advancing the energy sector, while training in DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSCAD, ETAP, and CDEGS. You’ll gain the technical skills and experience needed to drive renewable integration and strengthen power system resilience.
