With over three decades of experience in the energy industry, Tony Jefferson, known to colleagues as TJ, joined Enspec Power in April 2024 as the Head of Business Development. His extensive background includes roles such as Global Head of Sales for various Siemens business divisions across multiple countries, as well as a tenure at Shanghai Shemar Holdings.

In his current role, TJ is responsible for developing and managing Enspec’s sales and business development operations, aligning them with the company’s strategic growth targets. He is dedicated to building and motivating a high-performance, customer-centric team, while enhancing sales tools, key performance indicators, processes, and procedures.

TJ’s areas of expertise encompass technical sales and business development, cross-functional global team management, international account development, go-to-market strategies, complex deal structuring and negotiation, and strategic partnerships. He is actively involved in projects related to consulting, manufacturing, and site services, ensuring that Enspec delivers comprehensive solutions to its clients.

One notable achievement under TJ’s leadership is the SES project for the new SeAH Monopile factory, which stands as Enspec’s largest single project order to date. TJ led this £2.6 million initiative, overseeing the delivery of 26 Power Factor Correction units and 29 Active Harmonic Filter units. This project demanded best practice in manufacturing and project management, showcasing TJ’s commitment to excellence.

Reflecting on industry trends, TJ identifies the global transformation of power systems and the increasing demand for power quality-related equipment as significant challenges. His adaptability and forward-thinking approach position Enspec to meet these evolving needs effectively.

After 30 years in the industry, TJ remains motivated by the promise of clean and affordable power for all.
