Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer, Full Time.

Starting Salary: £70,000 – £90,000  per annum.

As a Senior Electrical Engineer at Enspec, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing cutting-edge power quality solutions, including harmonic filters, power factor correction equipment, and other advanced electrical systems. This position demands a profound understanding of electrical engineering principles, strong project management skills, and a dedication to delivering high-quality solutions that exceed our clients’ expectations.

 

As a Senior Electrical Engineer at Enspec, you will be responsible for:

  • Lead Technical Design: Drive the design and development of advanced electrical equipment and solutions, ensuring innovative and practical application in real-world scenarios.
  • Field Expertise: Apply your extensive experience in the electrical engineering field to develop and refine products, systems, and processes that meet industry standards and client requirements.
  • Standards Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to national and international specifications and standards, particularly in the renewable sector.
  • Technical Innovation: Spearhead ongoing technical improvements across the company’s operations, integrating the latest advancements in electrical engineering.
  • Project Management: Manage complex technical projects from conception through to completion, ensuring all technical aspects are meticulously planned and executed.
  • Problem Solving: Utilise advanced problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of quality assurance processes, ensuring all products and systems meet stringent quality standards, including ISO certifications.
  • Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing and validation of electrical systems and components, ensuring they meet all technical and safety requirements.
  • Documentation: Prepare detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test protocols, and user manuals.
  • Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; a Master’s or higher is preferred.
  • Significant hands-on experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on design and development of electrical systems.
  • Extensive experience in the renewable energy sector and related industries.
  • Deep understanding of electrical standards and regulations, both national and international.
  • Proven track record of technical innovation and practical application in electrical engineering.
  • Proficient in using advanced electrical engineering software and tools for design and analysis.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
  • Strong project management skills with experience leading technical projects to successful completion.
  • High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in technical documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative technical team.
