Enspec is pleased to announce that Sushumna Raja has been appointed to CIGRE Joint Working Group B4/C4.100, Guide for EMT Studies of VSC-HVDC Connected Islanded Wind Farms.
CIGRE is recognised globally for bringing together experts from across the electricity industry to develop technical guidance that supports the evolution of power systems engineering. Its working groups enable specialists from industry, academia and network operators to collaborate on the challenges facing modern electricity networks and contribute to internationally recognised engineering guidance.
Joint Working Group B4/C4.100 has been established to develop guidance for electromagnetic transient (EMT) studies of Voltage Source Converter High Voltage Direct Current (VSC-HVDC) connected islanded wind farms. As offshore wind continues to expand and converter-based technologies become increasingly important to the energy transition, the group’s work will help support a consistent approach to these complex technical studies.
Sushumna’s appointment reflects both her expertise and Enspec’s commitment to contributing beyond project delivery.
