Job Title: Digital Marketing & Content Executive

Salary: £26-30k pro rata

Location: Manchester

 

Enspec is looking for a creative and organised Marketing & Content Executive to support our marketing team on a 6-month fixed-term contract during a period of maternity cover, with the option for part-time hours.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in B2B marketing, content creation, and digital communications who enjoys combining strong written content with engaging visual design. The position will support day-to-day marketing activity across websites, social media, campaigns, and internal marketing assets.

We are open to considering both full-time and part-time arrangements for the right candidate.

The Role

Content Creation & Digital Communications

Write, edit, and proofread website content, blogs, case studies, social media posts, internal and marketing communications.
Support content creation for LinkedIn, newsletters, and wider digital channels.
Ensure all written content aligns with Enspec’s tone, brand, and technical positioning.
Work with technical teams to translate engineering concepts into clear and engaging marketing content.

Website & Digital Platform Management

Upload, format, and manage website content using WordPress.
Support ongoing website improvements and content updates.
Assist with SEO-focused content formatting and digital optimisation.

Creative Design & Marketing Assets

Create graphics, presentations, brochures, and marketing collateral using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
Support the visual delivery of campaigns, presentations, and digital communications.
Produce professional, engaging visual content for social media and web use.

Campaign & Marketing Support

Support ongoing marketing campaigns and brand initiatives.
Assist with marketing collateral, presentations, and event materials.
Coordinate with internal teams to support project and sales activity.
Contribute to maintaining a consistent and professional external brand presence.

Qualifications & Requirements

Essential

Experience in marketing, content creation, communications, or a related role in a B2B environment
Strong written English, proofreading, and editing skills.
Experience using WordPress.
Experience using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
Ability to create professional and engaging visual content.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Desirable

Experience managing LinkedIn or corporate social media channels.
Understanding of SEO and digital marketing principles.
Experience working with technical or engineering-focused businesses.

About the marketing team

You’ll be joining an in-house team of three marketing professionals, working collaboratively across a wide range of activity including digital campaigns, content creation, podcasts, webinars, events, thought leadership, website management, and brand development.

This role offers hands-on experience across the full marketing mix in a supportive environment where creativity, initiative, and new ideas are encouraged. You’ll work closely with technical experts, business leaders, and commercial teams, helping shape how Enspec communicates its expertise across the power and renewable energy sectors.
